I had a realization when scheduling a newborn session with a client...

I thought to myself, "How many families might not have their home 'photo ready' or be up to cleaning their home top-to-bottom a week after giving birth?" I know after going through my own postpartum journey twice - that would be the absolute last thing I'd want to do.

So, in May 2025 I began to offer newborn families In-My-Home newborn sessions. I make you + dad a latte, you get comfy and we get some cute lifestyle photos of you with your baby. I also have a crib, and a dusty pink nursery or navy wall for those classic candid shots of baby in crib. I have a growing closet of neutral-colored wraps and backdrops for more swaddled type posing for baby.

This has been such a great option for parents, with good feedback, at no additional fee. Unlike renting a studio, we stay in a cozy environment where things are slower without having to worry about time caps.
